this is the.....5th album i bought of his yet it's only my second poster..all because ipoh seldom get the poster stock so this time i waited till i went to penang and searched high and low for cd outlets which sell his album with the poster given..i first went to queensbay mall but the cd outlets i went didn't seem to know the existence of his new album...then the next day i went to prangin mall and gurney plaza..it's either, only 1 cd left or out of stock!! but no posters were given eitehr..funny isn't it?first no one seem to know about his new album..next moment, it's sold out..

in the end, my mum helped me find out in a cd outlet in ipoh parade and was told that it's available with poster..problem solved!!finally..so near yet so far..i didn't know they would have it..haha..after searching high and low in penang, i came back here to buy...LOL...

anyway, this album is really worth buying cause it costs only rm29.90 with discounts given depending on where you're buying it and guess what? nick's coming to ipoh breeze cafe on sunday night at 9.30pm!! finally he's here for his album promo unlike the last time where i could just keep my fingers crossed to have a picture with him and get his autographs..there's confirm an autograph session this time!

Evan Cai Ming You Live in Gurney Plaza

here's a more detailed post about evan yo's album promo event in gurney plaza as mentioned in the previous post..

this poster finally caught my attention after seeing it for SO many times and then i realised he was coming on the very same day...i realise i've seen several artistes several times in gurney plaza..first, gurmit singh, then andrew tan (ATQ 1st runner up) but had no guts to stop him to snap a picture cause i wasn't sure that was him, then some models - amber chia, steve yap and alan yun and now evan yo..

alfresco area??i've never even heard of it so my dad asked the information counter and then we knew it's outside near starbucks coffee..there we went..


it was past 7pm so the crowd was already quite huge that i couldn't really get a good spot and the security guards were strict about us standing in the way of the restaurants there to avoid disturbance in people's business..


i stood at the front row of the really really side part of it..


awaiting the arrival of evan..and i wondered who's the emcee holding the my fm microphone..which dj could that be? i recognise most of the my fm djs cause it's one of my favourite radio channels but i couldn't recognise this one..

a little bit of everything...

this post should be dated august 30th to sept 1st which means it's a delayed one..lol..well i'm just gonna post about what happened within that 3 days..i went to penang for holiday since it was a long weekend..not that long actually..but that morning was convent's speech day and co-curricular day and i was invited to attend that prize giving ceremony..it's held for the second time for some reasons ( if i were to mention it..this will be really long..lol..)

anyway, it's the worst prize giving ceremony EVER! the moment i reached school..i thought i was late but as i walked to the hall..i saw many people queueing up to collect their certificate and prize (money)..i was so lost and confused and didn't know what to do..some teachers were there to guide but isn't it weird to get our money and cert first outside??and inside the hall, we just had to wait to be called, walk up and receive a so called cert and the funny thing is, when i walked down the stairs, a girl at the door put her hand out and said "sijil, sijil"...i was like, huh??? then i gave her back the fake cert..everything was so fake and badly organised..it's as though they held it for the sake of having it only because they already had the most grand one a month ago..it's seriously the lousiest prize giving ceremony ever but what matters most is i still got my money..lol..

it's a good thing it ended early cause we were going to penang (my family and i)..our first destination was the queensbay mall..walk walk and walk..then we checked in to sandy bay paradise hotel and had buffet dinner there for FREE...hehe..but i would prefer to have hawker food though..



i saw the beijing olympic mascot, huan huan for sale in living cabin i think..i forgot the price but it's just so expensive because it's too adorable?lol..since i can't afford to buy it, i captured a picture of it..

next day, we went to prangin mall..we went for lunch in a coffee shop inside the mall and we saw this weird man who shaved his head bald with stripes of hair (i don't know what style you call that) and then put some red dye on every stripe...5 circle spots of hair behind symbolizing olympics? and he wore a malaysia flag walking around, all of a sudden whistle and shout "merdeka!"he freaked me out a little when he did that a few times and we found out that he's the boss of that place...gosh..so patriotic??? i really wanted to snap a picture of him but had no guts to do it though i think he'll be glad to let me have a picture of him..haha..

then we went to gurney plaza in the evening..walked around a while..in search for nick chung's latest album with poster (because most places do not have the poster ) yet i failed to find it..(more about it later)..so we walked to the hawker stalls outside to hunt for food..here's what we had :

we walked back to gurney plaza after that and i found out from a poster that evan cai min you, a chinese singer was coming at 7pm..not really a fan of him but wanted to see him perform live anyway cause i used to like his songs..not so into his songs all because i'm so outdated with the latest music now..here are 2 pictures taken before it started ( as an appetizer )

not long after the promo event ended, we headed back to hotel as everyone was already too tired except for me cause i really like walking in shopping complexes be it only window shop, i don't mind =)

went to the beach after resting int he hotel a while..it's the first time i really walked along the beach at nighcause i'm usually afraid of the high tide..well doing it does give me peace...like no worries..just feel the sand under my feet and sound of the waves hitting the shore softly..too bad no pictures of it..

back in the room, i tried to capture a night view from the balcony and here's the outcome:

better???much better!!this one's captured by my brother..yeah yeah i know, he's a much better photographer than i am..lol..nevermind, i'm still learning...now i know..hehe..

the next day, we checked out and went to penang road for lunch..the famous coffee shop with the famous cendol stall outside..haven't been there for some time already..before going back, we stopped by at sunway carnival mall in butterworth..it's still very new so there's nothing much there yet but if you wanna shop for clothes, i think it's not bad though since the big sales was on..


on the way back..this banner caught our attention..taken from inside the car..raindrops on the window..ok ok back to the banner..if you notice, this banner was hung upside down on purpose because the website is in the correct direction..probably this is the reason why they did it..to catch people's attention!! lol..how people find ways to draw attention to gain more business...

so, that's the end of the penang trip..oh well, it's partially fun and partially not so fun due to several reasons and mainly because i was without my all time shopping companion =( no need to mention who that person is..she knows, i know..hehe..but at least i got to buy 2 pairs of body glove pants at a really low price from the stock clearance sales..wheee....!!!

i think this trip is really lack of pictures probably cause penang is a place where i go quite often so there's nothing much to snap..

p/s. i overslept on both days after coming back from penang cause i was still on holiday mood and i was really tired and lazy to go for class..new timetable's out which means new paper starting and i wont have as much free time anymore =( and i seriously need to prepare myself for the upcoming unknown date exam..sorry for all the spelling error..i'm sleepy!!

game addiction...

i'm currently addicted to GAMES...heard of this game called "hexic" ? off and on i have this addiction towards it..i have it in my phone too..hehe..the main objective is to make as many stars as possible and try to form a black pearl..it makes my phone battery "kong" very fast though so i played it on msn website yesterday...and i finally managed to form a black pearl..!!! here are some pictures of the process in making it..hehe..

to make a star, u need to surround 1 hexic with 6 hexic with the same colour (like a flower)

and to make a black pearl, u need to form a flower with the stars..it's not easy to position it like dat.and i'm on the way to form the flower..when three join together in a triangle shape, it'll explode to gain points so it'll be a waste though there are points...

and there!! see the black colour hexic at the bottom?? it's called black pearl..hehe..this is only the second time i made it...*so proud* =p

then i wanted to form another black pearl with the other stars cause to win the game, you need to join 3 black pearls together..my dad did it once some time ago..

there comes a bomb!!! ( the green bomb in the center with the number '1' ) i'm given 8 moves before the bomb explodes and within the 8 moves i'm supposed to join it with 2 other hexic of the same colour but i failed so there it goes...

0...it's getting bigger...

BOOM!!! that's it..GAME OVER....nevermind..i had a black pearl though..hehe

it's august 26th!!!!

before the clock strikes 12, i would like to dedicate this post to a close friend of mine..

18 years ago, a baby girl named caryn was borned..and so she turns 18 today...

a pretty proud august baby she is..

this is like the first time in 6 years i didn't see you near or on your birthday right?hmmm..then suddenly i remembered, 1 year ago this picture was taken -



feels as though it was taken only yesterday...how time really flies...this picture was captured during caryn's birthday party last year and it was really near trials but still we made it and even watched secret..lol..those were the days..

i actually "lost" yesterday..or i mean this morning..haha..nevermind, next year =)

you've been a really great friend to me and i'm always willing to lend you a helping hand whenever i can because friendship is not valued by which side earns more from the other..i truly cherish our 6 years of friendship..

you must be really busy celebrating ur entrance into the often said legal age since u're nto online..lol..hope u had a great day !!

movie marathon...

an update!!lol..i know i have lots of "fans" out there anticipating to read my updates...just kidding..nothing much to update though..just wanna share with you about my movie marathon today...i've broken my movie marathon record today by watching 3 movies in a day..!!

first, it was a decision between zohan and penelope..we were not sure if penelope was nice but it only seems quite nice so we went for zohan..we -> ( kai yi, me and yan lin )

and so, we watched "you don't mess with the zohan"..adam sandler's comedies are nice but this..hmm..somehow to me, it's not bad, funny but some jokes are just too "dirty" to be funny..there were a number of sensored scenes too..

after the movie, we weren't so satisfied with the show coz it was kinda disgusting...so i said, "penelope should be nicer right?"..then kai yi said, " there's a show at 2.30pm actually, wanna watch??" no harm though..so we quickly had our lunch at 1 something and went for.....

penelope!!! irene joined in with her friend..we missed the beginning a lil but nevermind..the show was far better than zohan...i enjoyed it very much..we came out, satisfied of course...hehe..

then i walked around with irene after yan lin and kai yi left till 6something i went home, had a quick bath and out again for the 8pm show which was....


wall-e !! lol..this was a planned one compared to the 2 unplanned ones so it's not possible i skip this since my church friend bought the ticket already..wall-e's nice...i wouldn't say it's very nice probably cause i was too tired to really really concentrate already but overall it's nice and worth watching..

that's the end of my movie marathon today..one which i'll never forget..the previous record was only 2 movies in a day..3 is kinda extreme already..lol..the last time i had movie marathon was exactly last two months ( i just realised ).."prom night" in the morning and "the happening" at night..both tragic movies where everyone died..i only do this once a while so it's ok lar..afterall kai yi's leaving for further studies tomorrow night so i should really cherish the time we can spend together..wonder when can we meet again..

anyway, i had a great time today...and her coming back has brought many of us together again as well..i feel so belong each time i get together with my bunch of close schoolmates again..college friends are somehow nothing like that...maybe just not yet..

kai yi, i wish you all the best in everything you do...i'm sure u'll succeed in what you strive for !!

i'll only keep 1 of each movie ticket as a remembrance..some say i keep rubbish, i don't mind, it's just me...hehe.3 movies, 3 showtimes, 3 different cinema numbers, 3 different ticket pricing...yeah, 21 bucks altogether...friday night shows are so expensive!!!

p/s. home is the best place to be...i really hate to say this, but sometimes, some things make me feel like not coming home no matter how tired i get..

it's currently the last 10 minutes of the often mentioned date this year, 08/08/08..the auspicious date many consider especially for those who were borned on 8th of august or the many couples who tied up the knots today..not forgetting that the beijing olympics started today..the grand opening ceremony's still on till now..

anyway, here i am updating my blog on this very special date of the year..well, since i have no class today, i went shopping with my mum..not really shopping but we at least bought some stuffs..i love hanging out together where there were just us..i know i should be studying, but i just can't help it..exams are getting nearer and nearer..what am i doing??

thought of meeting up with my friends who planned a "get-together" but somehow i couldn't make it.i was tired and there weren't enough time.sorry =( later in the evening, a friend of mine who just came back from canada visited me..after so so long..i've finally met up with her..i am able to see how she changed, grown up from primary school till now..( oh, i sound so old..lol!! ) and there goes the usual thing after she went home..still failed to complete some tasks...

so that's about my 8th of August 2008 and i consider it a quite happening one..hehe..oh yeah, regarding the beijing olympics, i'm currently so attracted to the adorable mascots...been eye-ing at the mascots for some time already but as the olympics is now here, they attracted me even more...here's a picture of the 5 cute and adorable mascots :

p/s. i so coincidently met my friend today..one whom i've not seen for the past 2 months plus i think..it was a last minute plan that i went there and i was sms-ing her..each other not knowing where each other were..suddenly she tapped me from the back..lol..i was so so so happy to see her!!but too bad didn't have the chance to actually talk..it just all of a sudden brought back memories and i just realised that i actually miss her so much..the mentioned friend, are you proud to read this??hehe...it's true...how amazing God's plans are..plans which are totally unpredictable... that really made my night...

HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY EVERYONE!!!!

here i am blogging at 12.30am..got to really cherish this time to online as late as i want since there is no class tomorrow!!! whee....!! hehe..i do not have classes on fridays actually but been having extra classes for the past few fridays..but that doesn't mean i have no more extra classes..it's just been re-scheduled..

it's been really tiring for the past few days..was it really tiring or it's just that i've been on holiday for such a long period of time?it's a combination i guess..fallen asleep while watching television many times these days..anyway, that's not the main point here..

today, i had class from 9-11am..then 2 to 4pm..so i went home in between the long break cause i had to fetch my sis to college..it's really scary on the road today..i encountered with SO many close accidents today till i don't know how and which to describe..here are some examples :

-some cars suddenly stopped or went really slow in the middle of the road till i had to make emergency brake..
- some cars come out from another lane all of a sudden without giving any signal till i had to turn the steering so hard to avoid the car..
- some cars stopped in the middle of the road and the door just fling open all of a sudden..how dangerous..
- pedestrians i met were equally insane, crossing the road like nobody's business..
- a car flashed me with high beam light cause i was driving only 60km/h on the right lane..i really tried to change lane but couldn't yet..couldn't he have more patience???

guess that's all i can remember but that's more than enough to make my heart jump out of place or at least increase my heartbeat rate by so much more times..was is really them who are so reckless or was it just me who was day dreaming and got distracted?or was it a combination?i'm not sure but it's surely not all my fault..i really thank God each time i managed to avoid a mishap..i know it's by His grace that i'm safe..not that i have good driving skills or what..i can't imagine what would happen if it's not Him who was protecting me..

sometimes i wonder if it's a reminder from God to remind me about Him when i often forget to pray before i drive..until something bad happens then i'll remember i need His protection...i know i shouldn't be like that..remembering him only in times of trouble..i should rejoice in Him through good times and bad times..i really really thank God his protection..

my life's getting more tiring these days...subjects getting tougher..i squeezed so much brain juice out of my brain during tutorial today till i had headache..i'm getting worried about how to face the exams..yes..have faith and i can do it..i need God's strength to face each day...i can do all things through Christ who gives me strength..

1-> eunice is a super lazy person - i procrastinate a lot..day after day..month after month...and i start reading a book easily but too lazy to finish it so a storybook with average thickness takes me ages to finish..

YES!!! my computer's finally revived again..awaken from a deep comma after quite some time..i miss sitting down here so much..but it's not so a good news though...means i'm gonna start wasting my time gluing myself here again every day.. (hopefully not)

incase you don't know, my computer's been in a deep sleep for some time due to virus infection and malfunction of the motherboard..it's finally revived!!! thanks to my brother for saving it..lol..nothing much to say here..just an update since i haven't been updating for...a week?

not so my day....

well, i just came back from college just now..gosh..so lost in the subject..after figuring and trying for so so long until the lecturer gave the answer on the board only i managed to get it..hehe..

anyway, the "not so my day" is actually for yesterday..woke up early but later than i supposed to, to get ready for international run..it was so jam at the stadium roundabout..first, i searched for the registration counter then the starting line..i told myself not to start late this time like i did last year but still i started late cause there were too many people pushing their way to the starting line through an entrance..

okay la, cut the story short.supposed to start at 7.05 am and finish at 7.55..but by the time i reached the starting line, it was already 7.20am..(so i thought, ok, must run faster since i'm late)..run run run..walk walk walk.. ( i walked more than i ran )..in the end, i reached the finishing line only at about 8.25 am..i was so so slow and late..i even exceed my own 50 minutes..what more the time set by them..so i couldn't get my participation cert..haih..i really lost the stamina i used to have last year..i managed to complete the run within the given time LAST year..that was history..lol..i guess that's the difference between schooling and not schooling..at least i had PJ lessons last year where my PJ teacher asked us to run around the school for 5 rounds and so on..

hmm...i must do something about it..exercise more!!! lol..but it's really disappointing not getting the certificate of participation cause i went there with quite a high confidence level of getting it but what to do...lack of exercise's the cause of it..

and then in the afternoon i went to ipoh parade to meet the casts of "heart of greed"..a hong kong tvb drama currently showing on astro wah lai toi..moses chan, lei see kei, linda chung and tavia yeung came..they were supposed to come at 3pm so i though if i reach there at 2, i'll be able to get a good spot with a good close up view..truly, i underestimated the event..the crowd was already so huge at 2pm..i stood at the side (where i can see them..kinda..but not so good view though )..they came really late..i waited till around 3.45pm but they were still not there..only many singers whom i'm not familiar with came out to perform..come on, i didn't go there to meet them.. and i couldn't stand it anymore..it was so stuffy and my legs were seriously aching..irene was with me so we left the crowd and search for a place to have a drink with suk wai as well..everywhere was so full of people so we headed to the foodcourt instead..

after everything at about 4.40pm, we went back to the stafe area..the tvb artists were already on stage playing games..well, at least got to see them from far..really far..nevermind..i still saw them at least..lol..

so that's about it..not so my day that i couldn't get a close up view of the artists...couldn't get a participation cert in international ( but at least i got a nice tshirt lar..)

got to go out for lunch soon..next class starting at 2pm..so that's all for now..

p/s. my legs are seriously aching...i have difficulty getting up each time i sit and difficulty sitting down after standing as well..LOL...i really need more exercise!!!

the 2 hours test of patience..

i went through something this morning which really really tested my patience..i'll be taking part in the ipoh international run this coming sunday so my sis and i went to collect the goody bag this morning..the starting time of the distribution was at 8.30am..wanted to go at 8.30 but somehow, i woke up at 8.30 so by the time i reached there, it was already 9am and i thought, nevermind, i'm at advantage since it's working and schooling hours and i'm involved in neither..

to my surprise, as i stepped into the place..gosh..i see a LONG line..some long some short, depends on which category..i was supposed to collect from 3 categories..most of my coupons were for category J so i went for J first since it's only moderately long..though the line wasn't that long, those people were really getting on my nerves...the people at the counter as well as the public..the people managing the distribution..GOSH!!! how INEFFICIENT!!! they were so extremely slow..i was so near to the front line yet so far cause they were super slow..they're not even sure about alphetical orders..couldn't they search for the name faster? search for the numbers faster?get the tshirts faster? so big bunch of people behind the counter moving like snails..

as for the public, why can't they just wait in line?? they had all sorts of ways to just squeeze themselves into people's way, cut queue and start handing in as many as 10 receipts all at once..they take so slow to even get 1 bag of goody bag done..what more 10?? my sis started queueing up for the K and L line which was the longest cause they put both categories together and it has the most participants (aged 13 to 15 )..then i went to the D line ( open category 13 and above )..the line was so short yet so slow..nevermind, still bearable..

then it was already about 10am, i went back to the K line with my sis and guess what? the line didn't move at all!! people kept cutting in the line from the front..
slow workers in charge + immoral people + over helpful and inconsiderate people who helped their friends to collect SO many bags...and i was queueing there so long for just 1 miserable bag for my brother..

anyway, i finally managed to get my brother's bag at about 11.15am..2 hours plus there..gosh..really no joke..really testing my patience and it's REALLY limited..but i guess everyone's patience there was at maximum level already.. next time, go earlier, don't take things for granted..really didn't expect to see so many people there cause the last time i went to the star office to collect the starwalk goodies, there were seriously very few people..not a single student...just a few uncles and aunties who aren't working and the people there were so much more efficient and faster though the procedures were only a lil simpler..do you know many students actually skipped school just to collect their stuffs for international run this morning?? unbelievable..

here's how the procedure goes.. They : -
1. take your receipt and tshirt coupon..
2. search for your name on the name list..(they're really slow at this )
3. see what's your running number..
4. copy it down on the receipt..
5. ask the assistant to help find the running tag with your number..
6. see your tshirt size from the name list (same row as your name )..
7. then ask the assistant to get it
8. put the running tag and tshirt into the paper bag
9. copy your number onto the registration card..
10. tear the registration card from a booklet and put into the bag..

then after getting your bag, squeeze your way out..


can you imagine how slow they can be??? well i know another reason why are they so much less efficient compared to starwalk...simply because....*i can't mention it here*..lol..ask me personally if you wanna know..


the crowd...the queue by the wall is the K line..it's much longer..next time, they should just open more lines for categories with the most participants..or probably even limit how many bags a person can collect at a time then you won't see the same person standing in front for so damn long..

bags without loops for me to carry..it's quite hard to carry all of them when there's no handle..


inside mine..got a yellow shirt..inside other bags are dark blue and red..i collected 2 dark blues, 2 reds and 1 yellow and mine is yellow..m i the special 1?lol..i rather have red though but nevermind..be grateful and accept what i got..match my running tag anyway..lol..

oh well, after so much of critics, i admit there is an improvement compared to last year..they do have sufficient tshirts (i think) for people who registered early unlike last year when they had to reprint the tshirts so many times ( a few different designs and got uglier each time ) and hardly any of my friends got the size as ordered..3 cheers to the printing and distribution of tshirts this year !! lol..

can't believe that this post is actually...so....LONG....too much to express within that 2 hours there..lol..thanks for reading till the end if you did..

p/s. 1 advice, if you're joining international run, if you wanna help your friends collect their stuff, not too many and take only the same category ones..otherwise get more people to queue up in other lines at the same time if you have a few categories to collect from..
