Words of Sorrow....

may 11th (5th day of exam) : marks the misery for all chemistry lessons in future..we got to know that it was our chemistry teacher's last day in school..oh well..he got promoted and it was an order..what is this? got promoted and forced to go?people said before retiring, one must get promoted..probably..imagine chemistry lessons without him..class rep and prefects safe from being called to answer questions..it's surprising he rarely calls me but some would "kena" every single lesson without fail..lol.just pure luck..anyway..those were the days during chemistry..we won't have that kind of situation anymore..

may 13th : the day before..my sis and i realised that one of our turtles was very weak..almost dying..it couldn't eat anymore and left us the next day..this is the 2nd turtle wich left us..once 5 now down to 3..

may 16th (teachers' day) : this day was when joy turned into sorrow in my house..at about 7.30pm, as we were all getting ready to go out for dinner..as usual, my mum ordered our dog, saffy to go behind the grill as my dad was about the drive the car out so that she can't run out..usually someone will hold the grill to make sure she can't escape but this time..no one was at the grill..even if there's no one there she usually won't run out when she's trapped behind the grill..who would have guessed it would be different this time..i'm not sure what happened but she rushed out the house before my dad managed to close the gate after driving out the car..it's actually something very normal..the moment she ran out..my dad told us , "saffy ran out" ..i told my mum , "not again??always like that one"..my dad quickly went to chase my dog back..not long later, i heard my dog's whining sound..not really whining but crying in pain this time..i thought my dad was punishing her but that was not what happened..we all quickly rushed out to see what happened and my dad said she was run over by a 4 wheeled drive..i've never seen her crying in pain like that before..we were so terrified upon hearing that and seeing her suffering in pain that we cried our hearts out till our neighbours came out to ask why..my dad said she was dying..i can't believe she would die like that..we quickly carried her into the car and looked for the nearest vet..at that time..all the vets were already closed so we went to a pet shop nearby to ask for help..the man managed to contact a vet who was willing to open the clinic just for our dog..we quickly went there.on the way, we kept praying and praying for her as we know only God's miracles could save her...there, we explained to the vet what happened..saffy was wagging her bushy tail at that time..he asked how saffy came home after being ran over by the 4 wheel drive..my dad said that she ran home..the vet asked, "on 4 legs??"..yes..on 4 legs...he said, "wow! she can run home on 4 legs after being ran over??still can afford to wag her tail?"..after checking here and there..the vet couldn't check what was wrong.. no broken bones..nothing came out..according to him, usually when this kinda thing happen, the internal organs would have came out..isn't saffy so strong??in fact she was already standing on four legs at the vet..we told the vet that it must have been God's miracles..he too agreed with us that miracles do happen..the vet gave an injection to saffy as a pain killer and to prevent swelling and gave some medicine...when we went home..she waited for everyone to leave her alone and she walked 1 round around the porch..i guess she was trying to see if she could still walk..what an egoistic dog she is!! beauty is like her number one priority..we gave her her meal and added some of our noodles which we couldn't finish..unfortunately..she had no appetite to eat and ate only a little of the noodles..my mum messaged almost all her friends to pray for saffy's recovery..

may 17th : my mum took care of her the whole day..treating her like a queen..she even called the vet to ask if there's anything we could do and he said she may need to be undergo scanning and be operated if there's a need.we were afraid that it would be too painful for her and what if the operation fails?my mum served her food and water most of the time..at one moment..she felt too great that she didn't wanna accept anything offered to her till my mum and sis scolded her for being so ungrateful...i was afraid she would die of depression after being scolded..later at night..she became very weak..as she was sitting at her favourite spot..she was slowly falling lower and lower but was alerted by the cars and bikes sound outside every now and then..i couldn't stand seeing her like that and tears kept rolling down my cheeks..my mum and sis said she was dying..i said, no..she must be sleepy..my sis said that's not how she looks like when she's sleepy..both said she was dying...she became weaker and weaker and mum said we had to say goodbye to her..afraid that she would feel cold..i gave her one of my towels..for the 1st time..a perfect one without being cut..we thought she was dying so we let her sleep at the side and let her go in peace.i couldn't say bye to her..i couldn't bare seeing her dying but went back to my room to study add maths..thank God the next paper was not those reading subjects like history or i would surely fail..after studying a few chapters..i came down again to see how saffy was..once again she was sitting at her favourite spot..i was shocked..i thought she should be lying down at the side there..

may 18th : early in the morning.. she was still around..i thought we had lost her..seeing her strong will to live, my mum said why not let her try going for the operation?the reason why she survived through the night was surely she didn't wanna part with us..she knew everyone loves her and cried for her..we even decided to share the operation cost..

in the afternoon, my parents fetched me from school..i quickly asked about saffy's condition...i asked if she needed to undergo any operation..she said no..i was surprised to hear that..at 1st we thought she had a kidney failure but that wasn't it..the vet actually came to my house to treat saffy..what a kind vet..he's truly a vet.according to the vet, there was a blood clot somewhere inside the stomach there where it was getting more more bloated..my mum told me that saffy was quite active in the morning compared to thursday and the vet came to give her and injection for nutrition and some other medicine.he even thought my mum how to open saffy's mouth forcefully to feed her medicine..the vet said she most probably won't die..upon hearing that, my heart was filled with joy and i was like.."oh my gosh!! God's miracles are so great!!He is so real!!!if it's not him..we would have lost her on wednesday.."we were once again happy, filled with hope..as for me..i was looking forward to the time when i can bully her again like how i used to (which shows she's healthy again)..that day, she could walk around and even tried to jump on two legs when she saw my neighbour but of course she failed to do so..mum fed her porridge with a syringe as she didn't want to eat..she vomitted a few times that day..

may 19th : saffy looked healthy and active..mum, sis and i went out for breakfast..we came back and did our usual stuffs..mum fed her her medicine and as usual, she refused to eat the medicine and she could afford to keep her mouth shut tightly..she must have been thinking all night how to keep her mouth closed..she vomitted again but we thought it was ok..i was playing sims and sat outside with her at intervals..patting her head..i know she loves it when we pat her head..she drank a lot of water..more than usual..later at about 11am, my mum had to do the laundry and sis and i went to help..before we went upstairs..mum asked saffy to drink water and she did..i told my mum , "she only listens to you..if it were me, she would have just ignored me.." as she was drinking water..she looked back a while at us..after doing the laundry i went to change my bedsheet as my mum went downstairs..suddenly she called both my sis and i to come down to look at saffy..the moment we saw her, we were like "aiya, nothing 1 lar"..she was lying down side ways..mouth wide open..i thought she was just resting..then i realise..she couldn't be lying there when the floor was so wet..her mouth couldn't close and she was having difficulty breathing..mum quickly called the vet and the vet asked if it's possible to drive saffy there as he was busy..my mum told him that saffy was dying and the vet said that we should just let her go in peace then..she died within seconds after we saw her.she wasn't breathing anymore...why so sudden??what happened?? that moment was so terrible..it felt so painful to see her go..she must have been pretending to be strong and healthy so that we would not be worried..she actually waited for us to go upstairs so that she could "go"..she didn't want us to see her go..

our neighbour who usually feeds her when we go outstation helped us with the burial at the place where he buried his dog last time..at least saffy's not alone..i'm not sure where it is..somewhere deep inside the narrow and bumpy road..we buried all her favourite things with her..until now, i still can't believe such thing would happen in my family..i know she'll go one day..but not this way..she used to run away lots of time last year and we thought one day she would be knocked down by a car if she went on like that..but this year, she has been so obedient and she rarely ran out..and you know what really happened on the accident day?she rushed out the house and crossed the main junction outside my house..she must be too excited when she saw a group of dogs there..the moment my dad went out holding a cane..she was frightened and she decided to ran back home and that's when she was ran over..because of her naughtiness, she ran out of the house and because of her obedience, she got ran over..why did she have to be so obedient at that time? she's not even 2 years old yet..still considered as a puppy..

it's all fated..like what my mum said..God's miracles allowed us to have the last 3 days with her about 60 hours..he knew we want more time with her so he gave us time to be with her..everything seemed to be planned..she died at 11.30 in the morning so it was convenient for us to manage her burial..it rained at 5 something in the evening after everything was settled..she was borned on a saturday and she left on a saturday too..she left on the day when i had no school, no exams..my dad went to jusco to buy something in the morning and we never even thought of following..what if we followed?my friend asked me to go for anderson's IU day..i didn't go too..imagine if i wasn't at home.i wouldn't get to see her for the last time..isn't everything so well planned? everything's in God's hands..i'm really grateful for the 60 hours we had and seeing saffy go beautifully..i guess saffy's enjoying life in heaven right now..

Here's a little about her:

Name : Saffy (originated from the stone name, Sapphire)

Cantonese name : Sik Fan (means eat rice..rhymes with "saffy" right?lol..she answers whenever we say that word out loud )

Date of birth : 6th August 2005

Colour : brown head with a half black half brown body (resembles the colours of a german shepherd)

Breed : unknown mixed breed

Likes : first one would definitely be EATING!!(rice, biscuits, luncheon meat, and anything mum cooks), playing with tennis ball, whatever cloth (towels, rugs and even rags), biting my dad's scaper's wooden handle, standing on two legs at the gate, sleeping, barking at cats, meeting her "loved" ones outside, wagging her tail, playing with water, tug a war, playing with shoes, my neighbour

Dislikes : bathing, being slapped on the face (so beauty conscious), being blowed at the face (beauty again), seeing us walking to neighbours' house or to the night market ( she's definitely jealous cause she can't ), dark skinned people especially indians ( not realising that she looks like one too, lol), afraid of newspapers

saffy was given to us by my friend, suk wai on september 27th, 2005..somewhere close to my PMR..my sis was the one who insisted in taking her though my parents didn't totally agree with her but since all of us are dog lovers..so we took her home or she would be given to the pet shop..from then, we had something to look forward to outside the house..she wasn't allowed to come in at all..she tried to sneak into the house lots of times and usually hid behind the door..i find it funny whenever i think about that as she's no longer able to squeeze herself through the bars now..every meal time, she whines and makes lots of noise when we're eating, reminding us to feed her first.. she runs to the food as if she's in a horse racing when her meal is served

she wags her tail whenever we come home..whenever we go out, she tries to sneak out as well so we had to open the gate with a real small gap..i could remember once, my sis and i bathed her.the next morning, it's was raining heavily till many places were flooded..as we were going to school, she rushed out of the house..we didn't chase her back..when we came home, we saw her inside the house..she looked different..she looked as if she was sun tanned..so muddy, dark and dirty..she dirtied the compund terribly..i wonder who in the world let her in..my sis and i were so angry and i was almost cursing the person who let her in..must be my next door neighbour..i really hated her and the person who opened the gate at that moment cause we had to do double work..bathe her and wash the porch again..she used to bite our slippers too..can't even count how many pairs of slippers my dad's especially were sacrificed but she's now matured and no longer bites our slippers..she's truly a very silly dog which allows me to bully her all the time even when she's eating..people say that we must never disturb dogs when they're eating as they may bite..saffy never bites me though i disturb her most of the time when she's eating..where else can you find such silly dog?? well, those were the days we had for a year plus

for now, everytime i leave home..i look at the porch..it looks so empty and wide..something's missing..she's not so big but without her in the compound..it feels so empty..no more 4 legged creature welcoming us home..no one to say bye to before i leave home..no one to bully..no one chasing after me around the compund..she's also our "automatic doorbell"..we do not have a doorbell but when someone's here, we would definitely know..no one to eat our extra food..with her around, there won't be any wastage of food..no need to be afraid of theft or robbery..need not be afraid of being home alone even when my parents go outstation..at times, i tend to forget that she's no longer here..once, i suddenly walked to the grill and looked out.then i asked myself, why did i come here for?there's nothing to see outside..everything's different..life at home is so different now..her absence made a huge difference in life..dogs are truly man's best friend..

here are some pictures of her..from puppy till the day she left us..

"hmm..nice towel..love it"

"hey, don't look at me like that!! " (looking guilty)

saffy's favourite spot to sleep on..

feeling cold..

"why wouldn't you all let me in??"(she looks cutest with this pose)

at least she could put her head in..how desperate she was..

gosh..the most embarassing picture..that's how she sleeps..

saffy's expertise in grabbing the cloth with her mouth(she crumples it together and grabs it)..for your info, that's actually our rug..she stole it..look at the motion of the tail..miss seeing her in this pose so much..

"i sensed some food...hmmm.."

"there, give it to me" how often do you see dogs using their paws like hands?

her pink tongue sticking out..craving for food

and again her favourite pose, resting her head inside..

beauty conscious saffy grooming herself (i used to tell her, "duneed to groom yourself lar, it won't make a difference, still not pretty.." well..just to tease her)

that's her favourite sitting place and also where we trap her whenever the car goes out or when guests come..

this is what you call "mabuk kereta".this picture was captured in the car when my sis was fetching me home from school..it was raining heavily when my sis came out alone and she was afraid that saffy may run out so she brought her into the car..gave me a shock when i saw her in the car..guess this was her second time sitting in a car after the time when she was brought home when she was still a puppy..that is why she "mabuk kereta"..i remember she vomitted a few times..seriously, she looked really funny..

well, this is 1 day after the accident, 17th may..she sat there most of the time that day..trying to bear the pain

this the last thing i ever gave her..the night when she was actually dying..doesn't she look pretty with it?

even at the very last moment, she still wanted to rest her head there at her favourite place..(if you notice, this is the 3rd picture here with this same pose, same place )

early in the morning on the 18th..

that's where she sunbathes..

look at her silky black body..

feeling shy huh??

on friday night..hugging the towel, posing like model..

the day she left us, may 19th..i guess this was her last picture that we could capture...

exams are over, holiday is here..so what?i'm not really happy..things ain't the same anymore..

100 Years Of Excellence

that's the theme this year as we celebrated convent's 100th years anniversary..everyone's been so busy since holidays till the 1st week of school for the centenary celebration preparation..as for us, we did everything last minute so we rushed like mad and it's really tiring..but it's definitely worth our "last minute hard work"..

last night was the centenary dinner in Syuen Hotel where lots of convent old girls and VIPs came..iw ent there on duty to snap photos..and i managed to snap a picture with Amy Mastura..she used to be studying in our school and she came back to acknowledge all her teachers..she's really a friendly and nice person..the dinner was very grand but too bad i couldn't enjoy the food as i did not buy the rm60 ticket.

the opening ceremony today was the release of balloons and the revealing of the centenary plague..i actually missed it and i didn't even notice it outside..aih..too bad..
the performances were the choir, the story of the "Grand Old Lady" (main convent), folk dance, tradimode etc..(i missed all of them except folk dance)..i took part in the folk dance..it was fun when we invited the public to join us dancing..i can't dance but the folk dance is easy..so even if you can't dance..u can still dance folk dance..never thought of joining at first but my persuasive friends kept persuading me to join since it's easy so why not give it a shot? i dance as the guy and my partner was joyce..i felt so guy-ish..lol..

there were exhibitions by 4th Unit rangers, Interact, PBSM, Joyful Vanguard, 7th and 8th Coy, Prefectorial Board, Librarians, COGA(Convent Old Girls Association) and science exhibition..there were souvenirs for sale as well as rose request(by interact) and song request(by prefects)..

i feel so lucky and blessed as this is my last year in convent and we had such a grand event going on but the old girls are even luckier as they get to come back to school and see all the changes after so many years..i don't think so i can live till 117 years for the next centenary celebration..

so just wanna wish convent Happy 100th Birthday!!
and happy 1 day holiday to all convent girls..lol
i captured quite a number of pictures and i'll upload here later..so be sure to come back another time ..till then

let's celebrate!!

this sunday, 7th January is main convent's 100th years anniversary..it's gonna be a century old!!so the centenary celebration is open to public..i'm not so sure what time the public can come in but i think it will be good if you can come at 9am and it ends at 12.30pm..hope it's gonna be great..don't miss it since it's like only once in a lifetime (unless i can live till 117 years)..lol..so if you're free, just come and there'll be coupons (rm5) for sale..there'll be food fair, performances and exhibitions by various societies..it's the school's big day so don't miss it !!

p/s. incase u're not sure where main convent is, it's the one next to ipoh parade..don't go to the wrong convent.hehe

welcome 2007!!!

about 2 hours ago when i blogged, it was still 2006..and it's now 2007..the moment the clock stroke 12 the sms-es are all jammed up...everyone's celebrating the new year..i mean almost..exclude me just sitting here for the past few hours..the number 6 is far better than 7..lol..the common question people would ask is any new year resolution?yes,i have..

- eat less, sleep less
- don't be lazy
- study smart
- watch less tv
- discover what i want to do in future(very important)
- treat everyone nice, gossip less
- read the bible at least every alternate day
- appreciate every moment in school

so many resolutions that i have?oh no....i'm just dreaming..these are not really my new year resolutions..how i wish it is cause i know i won't keep them so i shall not call it my new year resolutions..i know i can't but i'll try my best to make them happen though the possibility is only 5%..ok..work hard on that 5%!!lol..as a conclusion, this post is just another piece of crap and i have no resolutions but i hope to be a better person this year compared to last year..

Happy New Year everyone..
look ahead, forget the unhappy moments in 2006
there are more great things to come in 2007
live every moment to the fullest and may the new year bring you all the good things in life

thus..i would broken heartedly(no no, sew it up)..so with a happy heart wish everyone a blessed new year and may everyone lead a new and happy life throughout the year 2007

the end of the year 2006

the old is gone and the new is yet to come in just about an hour..before the clock strikes 12, i'll leave a post here..i'm feeling so bored and dull right now..i seriously still can't believe it's already the 31st..the last day of the year..how time really really flies till i can't catch up with time..i feel as if i'm still in form 4..the number 5..gosh...makes me feel so old..when i think back how i've got through the year 2006, sometimes i ask myself, was it really me?i think we've all gone through happy moments and sad moments throughout the year but no matter what happens..time never stops and life goes on..overall i think 2006 has been a great year for me despite the suffering exams in school..i'm definitely gonna miss everything..anyway, this holiday's been a great one for me too.i had no time to be bored at all..it was so fully occupied and i failed to carry out some of my plans such as practising add maths, reading up the two novels for next year's literature(the return is boring)..and the DVDs at home..argh..no time to watch..

there's watchnight in church tonight but i didn't feel like going..that's why i'm here but not many friends are online though..guess everyone's busy with their own plans..or busy writing down their new year resolutions?ok ok..i think i better cut all the crap and wave goodbye to the year 2006..till then..

6 days of "village" life on the island (under construction)

hi again everyone..just came back from camp on thursday night..the camp was so extremely great.it was organised by my school and UPSI(Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris).i have so much to say here till i don't remember what to say..lol..here's a very long post so take a deep breath before you start.let's begin with :

December 16th, 12am:

arrived at my school front gate..the two chartered buses were already there but where's the teacher?i was kinda not satisfied with the unorganised situation without teacher at first..only the TCS teacher arranged us into the buses..Puan Anita turned up later and i was like *phew*..she's finally here...we started our journey to Kuala Perlis at about 12.30am..it took us only about 4 hours to get there.we had to wait at the jetty till 6.30am which means we waited for 2 hours..there, we were provided breakfast (nasi lemak and tea)..then we boarded the ferry..

the ferry stopped at langkawi then stopped somewhere in the middle of the sea where we had to wrap our luggage with black plastic bags to prevent them from getting wet upon being transported to Pulau Singa Besar..each of us was given a BA(buoyancy aid, something like a life jacket)..Puan Anita taught us how to wear that thingy..it was so wet and gross at first but we later got used to it..lol..from the middle of the sea..we were brought to the island by a "dinggi" which can fit bout 6 to 9 people on it..it was my first time sitting on that thing..i didnt know how it would be like then i asked my friend, "what if i fall?" lol..then she said "no u wont"..lol..it was really fun sitting on that thing..when we arrived..i saw a lot of people on the island..and a chinese facilitator approached us and told us bout how they set up everything on the island..we were the 3rd and last batch of people camping there..she was really nice and friendly..

nothing much happened for the rest of the day including choosing our tents(my tent mates were sue quin, suk wai and amirah)..then we checked out how the toilet and bathing place were like and it's like oh my gosh!!the door can't even stand properly..everytime u go to the toilet..u'll need someone to help u hold the canvas up so it won't fall..we complained bout it several times but no actions taken till the 2nd last day..as for the bathing place..it's 1 big black tank of water and everyone bathes together(just like NS)...can't expect much actually since everything was "DIY" by the facilitators..

later we were divided into 3 groups..not allowed to choose at all..luckily i was put into the same group as my friends..and then we were told the rules and regulations there..how to be disciplined and punctual..every night after dinner..there will be some kind of speech by a few facilitators..the rest will be the facilitators singing and singing..play games..we wont get to sleep before 1am..our sleep time got later and later every day but 1 thing for sure..the facilitators were an awesome bunch of people..they're really good in telling jokes..telling lies which we really fell for it..

December 17th:
we got up early in the morning at 7am for "fajar murni" where we sang "Negaraku" and our school song..then we danced "pocok pocok"..really have no idea how to dance that so i just followed blurly..lol..after the fajar murni they gave us 15 minutes to clean our campsite then gather again for breakfast..our activities delayed due to a case where someone's pouch has been stolen..no one admitted at first til they used several intelligent methods and finally that unknown person revealed the location of the pouch containing a purse and a handphone.i salute them for their intelligent ways...after that.. we packed our stuff for our first activity which was SNORKELING....we went to the island opposite (i forgot which island and what's the name of the island)the island was beautiful with very fine and soft sand...the facilitator taught us how to use the equipments like how to wear the mask..the flippers and so on..then we did water confidence where they asked us to float on the water with the help of the BA..then we got ready to snorkel.it was also my first time snorkeling so it was really messed up in the beginning..i struggled badly and almost gave up on it when i drank lots and lots of sea water..i even pushed my friend down without realising..lol..(i'm so sorry, sue quin)..i finally knew the problem with myself..i let the sea water enter my mouth and i even breathed through my nose!!!lol..how silly..but when i really got used to it later..it was really fun..and without realising we were actually far away from where we started...at least i managed to see the sea porcupine which many couldn't see it..

next we had "survivor" where we were given 2 packets of maggie mee..2 pairs of fork and spoon and 2 mass cans..the first group of people were given matches and they had to start their own fire..i did second so we only used the first group's fire..hehe..and that was when it started raining,...so you can guess what's the "extra" ingredient in our noodles..

then we had "orientering" where we were taught to use the compass.. we walked around and even into the jungle which was really scary and i didn't like it..later we walked to a kinda abandoned jetty to wait for the dinggi to fetch us back..as usual i'm always the last to go up the dinggi..somehow not as quick as others..everything after that was as usual

December 18th:
got up early as usual.and our activity of the day was ABSAILING and FREE FALL..and again..we were the 2nd group to do it since the equipments were not enough so we had to wait for the other group to finish..guess i'm far too slow compared others..we went to the other island connected to Pulau Singa by dinggi..the best part was climbing up to the place where everyone was sitting there waiting for their turns..it's like climbing up slopes in the jungle..really fun..first time in my entire life climbing up and down like that..lol..before doing the free fall and absailing..we were supposed to report by saying "saya _____..berat_kg memohon untuk melakukan aktviti ini" ahh..embarassing..everyone's gonna know how heavy i am..lol..my friends and i waited for about 4 to 5 hours to get our turns to do it..i was so nervous till my hands grew cold..lol..it's also my first time you see..our lunch were suppose to come on that day but i don't know why it didn't..good thing we brought some food..and there was no toilet..just imagine..if you wanna do your business..it'll be at the beach..lol..

after everything we walked back to our campsite..quite a far distance..i thought we would be taking the dinggi again..we went back quite late..and to tell you the truth..i didn't bathe on that day..lol..i know i've been a very dirty fellow there but who cares?lol..there weren't time to bathe unless i bathe during midnight but i was too lazy and i had to wash my shoes which were full of mud..during the midnight at about 1am to 2 am..we were divided into groups of 3 for the "night walk" in the jungle..no torchlights were allowed which means we had to walk in total darkness..just with the guidance of a string to hold on in the jungle..this activity was to force us to use our sense of touch instead of sight and to experience how the blind feels.. the facilitators were all in the jungle but we wouldn't know where they were..they were only there to help us incase of any emergency.i was placed in a group with 2 girls whom i didn't know but they were really nice to me..i stood in between both of them and i was the shortest and i felt so safe.it's like having 2 bodyguards..lol..at times, you'll notice many advantages being short,no worries of getting your head knocked at the branches..my group went in third but came out second..the other group were lost somewhere and suddenly appear behind us instead..when everything was over..it was already 3 something in the morning..by the time i slept..it was already 4.30am..we plead the facilitators to have the fajar murni a little later the next morning and indeed they were very nice people so we only had to gather at 7.30 instead of 7.

December 19th:
the activity of the day was kayaking..my group was divided into 2 again and the failitators taught us how to use the paddle and did some demonstration..whoever gets to grab the BA and paddle first got to go first..and again.i went in the second group..lol..my friends and i were all so called "gentle ladies" and we didn't want to fight with people..we'll get our turns anyway..so while waiting..we chat with the facilitator..played games..discussed on what we should do for the reflection at night..not to forget..every night we would have to do a reflection on what we did on that day..and my group's presentation is always the dullest..lack of cooperation..it's finally our turn when the first group came back..we did water confidence again, then kayak..quite easy..good thing my friend who knows how to kayak guided me what to do..we did this in pairs..but it was really tiring to do the backward paddling..

we had plenty of time to freshen up after kayaking..we went to use the bathing place in other people's campsite..lol..it's much cleaner there compared to our side..we even had time to nap in the evening since we had to wait for the 2 groups who went for snorkeling and absailing to come back..i was feeling very energetic so i didn't sleep..later at night..when the wind started to blow..that's when i started feeling sleepy..lol..and i regret not sleeping..after dinner and everything..as usual..the facilitators went on singing and singing and my eyes were seriously closing even when teacher was talking about the next day's outing..i washed my face but there was no effect..later some girls took turns to perform in front such as dancing..singing and so on..it was a total waste that i was feeling so extremely sleepy...and guess what?there was once when my eyes closed and when i opened my eyes..i saw a camera facing me..oh darn!!is the facilitator snapping a picture of me sleeping or is it just coincidence?i fell asleep again and again it happened then i told my frined and my friend said the same thing happened to her..gosh..so embarassing!!that night was really fun and i hated myself for feeling so sleepy..after playing some games..they finally allowed us to sleep..

December 20th:
almost everyone woke up late and i was wondering if they changed the time for fajar murni but i doubt so..after the fajar murni..we had breakfast and we did the flying fox from the tree to the sea..not bad..my first time too..hehe..then we got ready to go for our outing to langkawi..we went there by boat..and we chartered 2 buses there sponsored by teachers and facilitators..we went to the makam mahsuri..and some other places which i forgot the names..lol..and shopped at pekan kuah for chocolates..we had very limited time to shop..but within a few hours i actually spent more than a hundred..not bad huh..the things there are all duty free so it's all very cheap..we headed back to the beach at about 8pm and waited for the boat to fetch us back to our campsite..without realising..we had dinner at 11pm..i tot it was only 8 something..that was the best dinner of all..barbecue chicken with bihun and fruit cocktail..

after dinner or maybe "supper"..we had malam kebudayaan where each group performed..my group sang Breaking Free..oh my..it was disastrous!!totally out of tune at the ending part..it's really hard to cooperate with a big group of people..after the performances..the facilitators had their performance for us as well..and guess what?about 6 facilitators disguised as "pondan"..damn funny and disgusting..

it was our last night and the facilitators sang farewell songs..sad and meaningful ones and made everyone cry..i didn't really cry at 1st but when they sang Mungkin Nanti..i shed tears a little..you know..it's like..6 days together and then we all have to part and go back to our separate homes..especially the great bunch of facilitators..i'm sure missing them a lot..without them..there is no fun in camp..it was already 4 something to 5 am in the morning when everything ended..i planned not to sleep as there was only very little time left to sleep and since it was my last night there..however..i fell asleep for awhile when i was packing my bag..

December 21st:
there was no fajar murni..everyone was busy dismantling everything on the island.i was told that the island was empty..everything was set up by the facilitators for us..imgine how amazing it is..one moment..the island was full of tents and everything..the next moment..it's just a plain empty island with only trees..

the boat sent us to the ferry..i slept all the way in the ferry..till we arrive the kuala perlis jetty..collected our luggage den got up the bus and started our way back..i was really sleepy that i slept whenever i could..we arrived school at about 9.15 at night..

so that's the end of the camp....when i went home..i felt like my house is too extra bright..just too used to the darkness in camp for 5 nights..there were only lighted bulbs hanging everywhere at night..incase u're wondering what we have for meals..we usually have rice with chicken or fish..vegetables and ikan bilis..there's ikan bilis in every meal..sometimes we had sandwiches..fried rice..chicken rice..fried bihun and so on..the food is considered not bad as they have to cook for everyone..there were altogether about nearly 100 campers excluding teachers and facilitators.

this camp is a very unforgetable camp and i'm already missing the camp right now....the things i did were all things that i have never done before..i really gained lots of new experiences which i could not gain else where..i may go for this camp again next year..oh well..if possible..

through this camp, you'll also get to know who your friends really are just as teacher said..and i've learnt how important friends are..without my friends, i think i wouldn't be able to survive in camp..my friends have been my "human wall" when i'm changing..they "guard" and hold the toilet doors..they accompanied me when there's a need..and there's no time to feel embarassed about anything with friends..all these seriously need patience and only true friends can do it..so, thanks to all my friends in camp especially my tent mates =)

i wonder who would actually read this post from the beginning till this line?lol..i won't blame you if u didn't..even i'm too lazy to type out this but i forced myself too..i still need to write a report about this camp to be handed to teacher to get a cert..i didn't know there's a cert.hehe..so sorry if there are a lot of spelling and grammar errors..

i'll add in some pictures later.check this page again after the 31st December..till then... (click on the pictures for better view but it takes some time) my apologies for the poor quality pictures..
