first step in Genting Highlands..

after....17 plus years of life..i've finally set foot in genting highlands for the very first time..shocking isn't it? everyone finds it surprising when i said i have not been to genting..not even once..maybe because my parents felt it's too expensive to go especially when we were young..hmm..so where shall i start?

WARNING : this is gonna be a....L....O.....N.....G.....LONG post...since it's my first time so got to jot down almost everything i can remember..it may be something u've seen lots of times but not for me..hehe

the trip was great..fun..i went with my church friends, ben, edmund, chee foo and sue jane..how i love self organised trips despite how much i have to spend on my own but if only more friends could make it then it would be even more of a blast..so five of us went to kl on wednesday night by bus..reached there at about 11 something looking for the ktm station..lost one led the way..kinda lost but still we finally found our way..we waited for the train till past midnight only arrived..gosh..for the first time standing there during the midnight..lol..then we headed to caryn's place..nice place though..picture?kinda have it but nevermind, not posting it here..hehe

thursday morning, forcefully woke up early and got ready to leave..went to 1utama new wing by taxi and then went to genting by bus..so many people going to genting..can say 1 of the main tourists attraction in malaysia?yet it's only my first time..lol..then we went up to genting by skyway..nice..hehe

after hanging around for a while..we left our bags in the hotel lobby where they kept bags since our check in time was at 3pm..then we went for breakfast at burger king and to the theme park...wheee...!!no pictures cause i left my camera in the bag cause i was worried the camera would fly out in the middle of some rides.. ok, i remember the first few rides we took..

first the pirate ship cause we wanted something slow first as a warm up and since it was just after our meal..lol..then we went for corkscrew the roller coaster..and the excitement goes up higher to solero shot..solero shot was FUN!!scary but really syok..hehe..feels as though my heart and voicebox were left way up above..lol..but we waited in the line for almost an hour..

he actually had guts to hold his camera..lol..

then it was time for something slow again so we went to dinosaur land..long queue as well but it's ok since it started raining and we were queueing under the shelter..not bad..but too bad, didn't snap any pictures..my dumbness for leaving my camera..i had pockets safe enough for it afterall..we went for more rides later till we had to check in..

back to the hotel lobby..get our bags and realised it's long before our turn to check in..about 200 over customers away i think..so we went food hunting in mc donalds this time..then hang around and time to check in again..

still not our turn yet..so bored so this is what we did..

we hung around till midnight and had late dinner or i should say supper..lol..it's not a usual thing that i do, eating burger in marrybrown at 12am or probably my first time? hungry already so had to lar..and we finally went back to our room since there's nothing much to do already and our heels were already aching..

next morning, checked out after the complimentary buffet breakfast..went there kinda late so nothing much..simply ordinary compared to other hotels..

just before we left the room..

we left our bags at the counter again and had fun!!

indeed, God is a provider..we needed a room, we managed to get 1 at the very last minute..and thank God for the good weather and for bringing us there and home safely though the bus driver seemed quite reckless..

i really enjoyed my first trip to genting..thanks friends for the trip!! first time having fast food for 3 meals in a day..first time playing in the themepark from morning till midnight.screaming on a roller coaster..playing cards in the lobby on the floor..waiting for ktm till past midnight...gosh..so many first times..that top up all the fun!! and to those who couldn't make it, could have been even more fun with you around..still got chance next time right?hehe..hopefully..

p/s. i'm finally done with this post..took me days..phew...lol..sometimes, i hate being forgetful so it's better i write down all the sweet memories here incase my forgetfulness strike me..surely..thanks for scrolling down to here..

never alone...

many times, i had to do this and that alone..for example :

my sis started her course in college in may and i had to fetch her to college almost every day but my driving skills were still bad, couldn't really drive alone but i realise, so happen that my mum was free to accompany me for the first few times so i can get used to it..then i was not alone..

my dad had a minor external surgery in the hospital last few weeks to remove the cyst on his back..my sis had to go to college so i had to fetch him home alone..but suddenly, he discharged early..so i was not alone..

and once my friend asked me to do her a favour which was to go to her house when no one's at home to get something..it was indeed a heavy task with huge responsibility..but the next morning, i was told that i need not unlock and lock the doors on my own as someone else will do it..i just need to go get the thing...i was not alone again..

indeed, everything seemed so coincident yet i believe it's not just coincidence..it's God who provides...God who protects me whenever i'm alone especially when i'm driving in the car..it's a blessing each time i reach a destination safely not because i'm a careful nor expert driver but His protection brings me home safely..

so i know, I'M NOT REALLY ALONE...

p/s. coming up next would be genting trip post...hopefully..hehe

spilling my thoughts and feelings..

it's june now..gosh..how time really really flies...i know i've said that lots of times but it's true..i can't stop saying it..i can't believe i actually left school for 6 months without working or anything..yes, i've been on holiday..thus, the common question we all school leavers ask each other whenever we meet our friends outside is :-

- hey, so what you doing now?
and my answer would always be, nothing..just hanging around..

- aren't you bored at home? aren't you rotting?
and i'll say, no, i like it..hardly any moment of boredom and to me, time still flies though i SEEM to be doing nothing every day. and i see no sign of fungus on me..lol..anyway, i would love to rot too if i can..

- why don't work?
well, lazy..anyway, college starting in july..so why not rest to the max before all the studying stress come in..

- and some say, wah...so late only start?
yeah, why hurry when i've time..i'm not in a hurry to start working or something..afterall my course will only take 3 years to complete if i don't get stuck anywhere..

and some will say, wow, i'm so jealous of you..so relax don't need to do anything..

6 months have passed since spm..what have i been doing? i went for several trips and outings with friends and family which i enjoyed most..at home, i watch tv, eat, sleep and online..despite all that, i do have other responsibilities to carry which not everyone has and it's not like i have to report to all my friends what i do whenever i see them..so i just wanna say, i'm NOT ABSOLUTELY doing nothing..

i get so tired almost every day..my energy level is low cause i'm lazy..i admit that..but i really can't take it ALONE..doing something hardly appreciated by others and not just that..it's worse when people undo all your efforts..it's heart - breaking and aching..

i feel so stressed and frustrated over little things at times..over things i don't have to worry about..i really can't help it..i just don't understand..and yet, i have no right to complain..i have no right to order people around but to take it up all alone..not many would understand how i feel and what i go through..it's not as easy as you think..some things are not like what you see from the outside..and..

I'M SO TIRED OF EVERYTHING.....!!!

i'm going to kl tomorrow night and then to genting highlands on thursday morning with my church friends and believe it or not, it's my first time going to genting highlands!..i'm so excited and i can't wait to go..really..so i can leave all my burdens behind, relax and just have fun..that's why i enjoy trips and outings A LOT..but the sad thing is, i have some tasks to complete before i leave which i don't think i can but i hope i can..will be back on friday night probably..

i'm just trying to express my thoughts and feelings..no offence to everyone =) so i guess that's all for now..

p/s. - my right arm's aching badly..played badminton yesterday and guess what?i swung the racket off my hand twice (once over the net) ..lol!! it was heavy and the grip was slippery due to sweat so that's why..anyway, i'm lack of exercise..haha..
- words just can't express how MUCH i seriously miss school life... =(

a trip to lumut...

my blog seems to be so lack of pictures these days..so here are some not so up to date pictures..went to lumut with my family on 10th of may and captured some pictures since i haven't been there since i don't know how many years..lol..

we stopped by at ayer...erm..what's it called?ayer tawar? ayer hitam? haha..i can't remember..tell me if you know which is in lumut which is in penang..i'm confused..it's a place we once had lunch and the food was tasty..after so many years, the place is still the same but maybe the food wasn't as nice anymore..

and so, we ordered our drinks and guess what?

it's barley!!!lol..they actually kept barley in beer bottles..something different to me..my mum got a shocked when she saw the bottles on the table after coming out from the toilet..

p/s. went for swimming this morning, not really swimming actually..and i've been suffering from flu since i left the pool till now..gosh..how i hate flu..makes my jaw get tired of sneezing..headache..drowsiness..oh no, i just recalled that i actually have flu medicine at home..haha..why didn't i eat it?my dumbness..if only i recalled it earlier then i would have felt much better by now..

You don't need the assistance of a psychic or the horoscope to show you what the future looks like. You have God's Word and His promise. Look at your past long enough to be sure you have acknowledge your wrong, turn away from it, and ask Jesus to be Lord over your life. That's the best way to know that your future is secure in Him.
